The Good Stuff + Giveaway

Wow what an amazing weekend it’s been. For those of you who don’t know, we celebrated Eid, the end of our fasting month (Ramadaan) with a family feast on Saturday. It is a day to exchange gifts, wear smart clothes (new clothes if you can afford it) and spend time with family and the community. Whilst it was exhausting to say the least, we had loads of fun, chatted with relatives we haven’t seen in a while and feasted after fasting for 30 consecutive days. Lipi-DON’T

If you figured out what this post was about by just reading the title, then yes, I know it’s harsh but it’s the truth. I, like many South African bloggers, jumped on the Lipidol band wagon as soon as it was launched last year in Clicks stores nationwide. The reason it has taken me months to write this blog post is because I attributed my experience to post-partum hormones when I started getting breakouts and decided to retry the products in the last month.

{HAUL} LUSH Cosmetics

So whilst on vacation in Durban in December, I was so excited to finally be able to go to a LUSH store and pick up some products. I had been hesitant to pace an online order many a time purely because of their steep R90 delivery charge to Johannesburg (I wanted a few products and it totalled over 4kgs apparently).
