FEATURE – Why I chose Laser Treatments over a Dermaroller

I’ve been seeing at-home Dermaroller kits being sold left and right. Claims of reduced acne, blemishes and scarring, skin rejuvenation and to fight signs of ageing. I’ve had close friends and relatives rave about their success stories but something always held me back. I started searching for the downsides, the negatives, the horror stories. What I found scared me beyond belief and I decided if I was ever going to do it, I’d go to a doctor or trained professional. Just think about it. The Dermaroller punctures good and bad skin. Whilst it might be great for collagen production where…

Clinique Free Gift with Purchase

I’ve always been a fan of Clinique products. I used their moisturisers religiously for many years to assist with my dry skin. I inherited a couple of blushes from my mom and I still reach for them every now and then. I swore by their Anti Blemish Gel for treating spots and getting rid of them overnight. Hiya bellas, We’re only half way through the week and I already feel like crawling into bed and hibernating for a good few days. We started fasting yesterday (it’s officially Ramadaan for the Muslim community), and it’s not only the early morning wakings I’m struggling with but also the hunger pangs creeping in at around 9am. We are only allowed to ‘break’ our fast with food/drink at 5:30pm so the days are feeling long and taxing. I’ve decided to not wear a lot of makeup for the next 30 days because I’d rather get some extra shut eye in the…

This is the End … of Acne!

You know in the movie “This is the End”, with James Franco, Seth Rogen and Emma Watson, where the earth splits open and you can see the fiery pits of hell. Well if I was standing over it the first thing I’d throw in is Roaccutane. These last few months have been horrible even though there is a happy ending at the end of this story. So when I started Roaccutane last year I was nervous as hell. I did a post here when I initially started and mentioned the products I was using and then did a 1 month…
