Mina, I mean 3ina Monday Review & Swatches

Happy Monday bellas, Ever since 3ina (pronounced Mee-nah) launched in South Africa a few months back, I’ve been wanting to try their products. I did manage to go to Eastgate after they launched since I wanted to check it out and managed to swatch about 6 products before my dad shouted me out of the store. He knew I’d be buying makeup and yes I know, I’m 30 years old but I still listen to my dad. So anyways, for my birthday, my friend and fellow beauty blogger, Ilona, gifted me a few items to try out. Here’s my thoughts…

MAC Nutcracker Sweet Collection

Hiya bellas, I know it’s been a bit quiet on the blog front and social media recently but there’s a good reason for it. I’ve been working very hard on a project recently and it’s something I have envisioned for a very long time, like 8 months to be precise. Wishlist Wednesday – Tarte Holiday Sets 2016

With throngs of holidays sets being released by brands each week, I can’t help but lust over some of them. After experiencing sub-par, mediocre workmanship in this holiday collection last year, I’ve been skeptical to purchase any holiday sets thus far. I know all items are made in bulk in factories all over the world, but hey, I’m trying to change my perception. I’ve seen so many gorgeous new…

Today I’m bringing you a mixed bag of my NYX eye and lip products. Most of the lippies have been sitting unused in a drawer only ever been swatched. The eye products on the other hand, are so amazing because they have multiple uses to make any eye look pop. Here let me show you. NYX Eyeshadow Base in White – R110 ($7*) This has been my go to product when creating fun character and animal looks for the kids. From butterflies and lions to Captain America, this holds up better than any face paint I’ve ever used. It’s creamy, long lasting…

Wishlist Wednesday – NYX Lid Lingerie

Hiya bellas, So in keeping up with the NYX theme this week, I thought I’d show you the items I’m still lusting after. I saw the NYX Lid Lingerie swatches on the Beautizine website here and I fell in love. They are described as delicate eye tints with a pearl finish. How stunning does that sound? The NYX Lid Lingerie comes in 12 different shades from deep burgundy to jade green. Now the intention of these is to provide a soft wash of colour to the eyelids for minimalist effort on your makeup look. I’d love to add them to my collection…
