Juvia’s Place Nubian 2 Eyeshadow Palette ...

Hiya bellas, So I’m starting off the reviews with the Juvia’s Place Nubian 2 Eyeshadow palette. Why this one? Because it was hands down the best makeup item I tried for 2016. I was shocked and surprised at just how much I’ve fallen in love with this baby because to be honest, it was not even on my wishlist. Janet from Pink Cosmetics contacted me a few months ago asking if I would like to review the palette. Once we established that all the ingredients were kosher, cruelty free and vegan, I gladly accepted. Background If you don’t know about…

OFRA Week – OFRA Pro Eyeshadow Palette Revie...

Before attending the Pro Beauty Expo, the OFRA Pro Eyeshadow Palette was the item I most wanted from the brand. I saw a picture on their Instagram page and I fell in love with the colours and pigmentation of the shades. I enquired about the price and when I found out it would be on sale at the expo, I asked them to set one aside for me and patiently waited. At the expo, they had an open palette for swatching and I was so excited to play. I dipped my fingers into the lilac shade and nothing. No colour,…

Dior Splendor Holiday 2016 Collection

Hiya bellas, “Lips in velvet hues, nails that shimmer with festive light, a gaze swept with intense smoky shadow: Peter Philips, the Dior Makeup Creation and Image Director, celebrates brilliantly glamorous beauty for the holidays! Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Review & Sw...

Hiya bellas, Today we’re going to be running through the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics palette. I know people swear by the Naked range and whilst I’ve been lucky to own all of the 12 pan palettes except the Smoky one, I’ve never shared the same fondness. Whilst I don’t disagree the shadows are of decent quality, the shade selection and performance just did not appeal to me. I’ve come to realize I tend to stay away from elongated pans since the kick up can fly on to the adjacent colours, thus making a mess of things. I can always blow on the palette to…

Mina, I mean 3ina Monday Review & Swatches

Happy Monday bellas, Ever since 3ina (pronounced Mee-nah) launched in South Africa a few months back, I’ve been wanting to try their products. I did manage to go to Eastgate after they launched since I wanted to check it out and managed to swatch about 6 products before my dad shouted me out of the store. He knew I’d be buying makeup and yes I know, I’m 30 years old but I still listen to my dad. So anyways, for my birthday, my friend and fellow beauty blogger, Ilona, gifted me a few items to try out. Here’s my thoughts…

MAC Nutcracker Sweet Collection

Hiya bellas, I know it’s been a bit quiet on the blog front and social media recently but there’s a good reason for it. I’ve been working very hard on a project recently and it’s something I have envisioned for a very long time, like 8 months to be precise. I’ve finally found someone who is translating it into a reality and I cannot wait to show you what it is in the next couple of weeks. That’s all the info I’m giving you for now because there is literally only 5 people that know what this secret project is,…
